The Jane Journal
About the Jane journal

returning to the things we love

Author, business leader, educator, and adventurer on the greatest adventure yet as a mama in this wild, changing, beautiful world. Come ponder with me the finer things in life, the harder things in life, and the most beautiful things in life... and most of all - the privilege to live.

How it started

My
Story

the good old days were about travel, adventure, education, leading teams and driving results.

The Jane Journal was inspired from there — into travel that now has strollers and check-in luggage, into wellness driven by health wake-up calls, into the wild world of parentling that no MBA or honors qualified me for. It is still mostly for me. But I am glad you are here too.

A little more

The life between the pages

I live in the sunshine of the California coast and have lived and worked in five countries in corporate, media, health and tech industries.

Before the journal, I worked in Fortune 100 companies and fast-paced startups— which is where I learned that the best stories are rarely the ones you planned to write. Now I write for myself, my children, and sometimes even for brands and publications I love.

For that which is common to the greatest number has the least care bestowed upon it. Every one thinks chiefly of his own, hardly at all of the common interest; and only when he is himself concerned as an individual.

What I believe

I will always have more to learn

Slow over fast

I believe the best experiences — and the best writing — come from slowing down enough to actually notice what is happening.

Honest over polished

This journal is not a highlight reel. I write about the detours, the quiet mornings, the things that did not go to plan.

Rooted over restless

Even when I am travelling, I am looking for the feeling of being settled — a café that becomes a ritual, a route that becomes familiar.

Gathered over accumulated

I collect moments, not things. A pressed flower from a Lisbon market. A recipe written on a napkin. The smell of rain on warm stone.

Collaborations

Work with me

I work with travel brands, wellness companies, and family-focused businesses whose values feel like mine. Sponsored posts, editorial features, and long-form content — always written in my own voice.
